About

Ana Barrons

Hi, I’m Ana.

I write romantic suspense, much of which takes place in or around Washington, DC. My characters are often politicians—a thoroughly entertaining lot, wouldn’t you agree? While my books are far from police procedurals, there’s nearly always someone in law enforcement—a cop or FBI agent, typically—central to the plot. I work to keep the suspense to romance ratio about 50/50, but I’d love to hear whether my readers share my perspective on that. Oh, and the sensuality quotient is high.  There are quite a few steamy scenes, so be prepared!

My first book, Wrongfully Accused, was released in January 2013 by Carina Press. In June 2013, Samhain released Son of the Enemy, which was followed by Betrayed by Trust—another Carina Press title—in July 2013. Click on Books for a plot summary of each.

I’d love to hear what you think about my books, so please feel free to comment—I promise to write back. And I’d like to get to know my readers, so send me a friend request on Facebook and I’ll happily accept!

Happy Reading!

Ana

Love your books.. Found your books on Kindle. Now starting the third one in 2 days, one of the advantages of retirement. You capture real feelings and emotions. You made me smile many times in Betrayed By Trust. Your descriptions of Mike were right on for a little boy Mike’s age. I could almost hear his giggles. I could feel Tiffany’s pain. In fact , I cried a few times. You kept me guessing, right up to the end.

Son of the enemy was also very good. You have a real talent/ability to describe the inner turmoils of your characters. I hope you a another in the works and will soon be available. I know it takes a lot of time to create good books. I am greedy, and not very patient when I find an author I like.

      Mary Kay,
Thank you so much for writing! I’m very happy that you’re enjoying my books. I wish I could say that I’ve got one coming out soon; some traumatic life events caused me to put my writing on hold and I haven’t gotten back to it quite yet. I have a million ideas, of course, and nearly two books of a three-book series written, but there’s a lot more to be done. Honestly, getting your email has given me a great shot in the arm — maybe it’s finally time for me to get back to work.
      Sincerely,
      Ana
